Center for Outreach, Mentorship and Empowerment

Impact & Learning

We care about reach and depth: what shifts in leadership, confidence, and decisions should show up in real life, not only on a spreadsheet. Every engagement teaches us something; we listen to outcomes from the field and adjust how we design and deliver so COME can keep maturing.

By the numbers

We have made impact across 25+ countries - including Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Zambia, South Africa, Togo, Cameroon, Liberia, the UK, Germany, Sweden, and the USA - through our programs, visits, and partnerships.

Figures below reflect verified outcomes from our 2022-2023 reporting period. We update these as new cohorts complete.

Impact in action

Numbers capture scale; the deeper story is personal. The photos below come from our programs and partnerships: cohort gatherings, learning, and time with communities on the ground.

Where we are seeing change

Four places we listen for impact: how people grow, how mentoring lands, how institutions strengthen, and how communities are influenced beyond the classroom.

  • Professional participant at a conference table - focused listening and leadership development in practice.

    Leadership growth

37,851 people reached through leadership training across 25+ countries. Participants grow in confidence, decision-making, and readiness to lead in academic, professional, and community settings.

  • Two women at the Uplift International Conference with COME branding - mentorship and peer support.

    Mentorship outcomes

3,860 mentees enrolled across 5 continents, with 84% being active students. Structured relationships help participants navigate transition, define direction, and build maturity over time.

  • Institutional visit: dialogue between COME and visiting leaders, representing partnership and stakeholder engagement.

    Institutional value

21 organizations and institutions trained through partnerships with NEIP, ACEP, GRASAG, and university campuses. Engagements strengthen leadership culture and build internal capacity.

  • Outdoor community gathering - outreach and practical engagement with neighbors and partners.

    Community influence

The Mitudua Project supported 92 informal sector workers with GHS 285,150 disbursed. COME's outreach extends beyond classrooms into the communities where change is needed most.
