YOUSTART Update (implemented by NEIP)

It was a privilege for our team to be part of the facilitators of the pilot program of the #YOUSTART(Ghana Government’s BOLD Entrepreneurial Initiative) being implemented by the National Entrepreneurship & Innovation Programme(NEIP).

This policy initiative is also in keeping with COME’s SetUp concept. A concept that provides a support platform specifically for entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs with the requisite knowledge products, advisory, and incubation services anchored on essential experience in areas such as scaling up of existing business, nurturing, execution of start-up ideas, sales, marketing, and venture capital fundraising.

Five(5) of the young entrepreneurs from the southern cohort were part of the selected ten(10) nationwide to pitch with the ministry of finance.

There is an audacious can-do spirit in the new generation of Ghana’s and Africa’s youth! The vision is unabated: “an Africa where young professionals of high integrity excel in their careers and leading to transform society.”
Government calls it YOUSTART, we call it SETUP!
