Mission & field priorities

Focus areas

These six domains describe where COME concentrates substance - leadership, mentorship, outreach, research, entrepreneurship, and inclusion. They express our priorities in society and in the field, not a list of packaged offerings for hire.

If you represent an organization looking for training, advisory, workshops, or long-term partnership, see Services.

Transformation that lasts starts with people who are deliberately formed to lead.

Leadership development

COME develops young leaders who are equipped to lead with integrity, clarity, and effectiveness across different sectors of society.

Our work in this area focuses on strengthening the capacity of students and professionals to take responsibility, make informed decisions, and influence their environments positively. Through structured development pathways, individuals are prepared not only to lead, but to lead with purpose and long-term impact.

This reflects our commitment to building a generation of leaders capable of addressing Africa's leadership and governance challenges at all levels.

Mentorship & capacity building

We support individuals through intentional mentorship systems that guide personal growth, professional development, and leadership maturity.

Our approach recognizes mentorship as a critical tool in shaping character, strengthening decision-making, and accelerating development. By connecting individuals with experienced mentors and structured learning environments, we create pathways for continuous growth and accountability.

This enables participants to transition from potential to performance within their chosen fields.

Social impact & outreach

COME translates knowledge into action by engaging directly with communities, institutions, and networks.

Our outreach efforts are designed to influence values, strengthen leadership culture, and create meaningful engagement across social and professional spaces.

Through both physical and digital platforms, we extend our reach to individuals and groups, ensuring that development is not limited to structured environments but extends into real-world contexts where transformation is needed most.

Research & thought leadership

COME contributes to the development of knowledge in leadership, mentorship, and human capital through research, publications, and advisory work.

By documenting experiences, generating insights, and producing knowledge products, we help shape conversations and influence practice within the broader ecosystem.

This work ensures that our approach remains evidence-based, relevant, and adaptable to evolving societal needs.

Entrepreneurship development

We support the development of entrepreneurial capacity among young professionals, enabling them to create opportunities, build sustainable ventures, and contribute to economic growth.

Our work in this area focuses on equipping individuals with the knowledge, tools, and mindset required to transition from job seekers to job creators. This includes the Mitudua Project - a street economy initiative that has supported 92 informal sector workers and disbursed GHS 285,150 - as well as educational support schemes reaching 83 students and 28 young people trained in skilled crafts.

By strengthening entrepreneurial thinking and innovation, we contribute to addressing unemployment and fostering economic resilience across communities.

Gender equity & social inclusion

COME is committed to ensuring that leadership development is inclusive and accessible to all.

We work to address gaps in representation and opportunity by supporting both men and women, as well as persons with disabilities, to fully participate in leadership and development processes.

Our approach recognizes the importance of equity, ensuring that individuals are supported based on their unique needs so they can reach their full potential and contribute meaningfully to society.
