Building a Movement of Women leaders
A report on the WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP SUMMIT-Ho, Ghana
In keeping with our strategic goals, we partnered the National Service Personnel Association (VOLTA/OTI Chapter) for their maiden women in leadership summit themed: “Raising Women In Leadership For Sustainable Global Impact.” This summit was a bold attempt by the leadership of the Volta/Oti chapter of NASPA to put forward a solution-based alternative to the subject of women and leadership.
The six(6) speakers who passionately offered fruitful and candid perspectives on the theme via their presentations and during Q& A sessions include; Lawyer Joyce Bawah(Special Aide to Former President Mahama), Mad. Akosua Manu( Deputy CEO Ghana Youth Authority), Madam Sussana Cudjoe( Deputy CEO Ghana Railway Authority), Madam Peace Adoni Adogla( Head of Finance, Hohoe Municipal Assembly), Madam Dzifa Kaledzi(Gender, Peace & Security Expert) and Godswill T.K. Mensah (Executive Director, COME).
We at COME are on a mission “to empower students and young professionals through leadership development, mentorship, research, and outreach.“
